How does Zoono work?

Zoono products use unique advance technology, exclusive to Zoono.  The products are applied by a fogging mist or self spray.  Once dry, Zoono resembles a layer of microscopic pins that attract, pierce and kill pathogens – the same principle as a pin popping a balloon.  This means NO resistance and NO superbugs! Unlike traditional sanitisers that kill bacteria by poison or high alcohol content, Zoono is a food-safe, water-based surface sanitiser applied as a mist then allowed to dry.

Can Zoono be used in my home?

Yes, simply follow the instructions on the label – apply Zoono via a trigger spray and allow approx. 10 minutes for drying. For commercial/technical applications, industry-specific written protocols are recommended and are provided as required.

Is Zoono safe to use around my children and elderly parents or grandparents?

All products have a ‘toxicity’ level, even water. Zoono has a ‘toxicity rating’ similar to that of Vitamin C, so yes – Zoono can be safely used around people, pets and plants alike.

Can you prove that Zoono works?

Yes, we can, in addition to the extensive testing undertaken by Zoono, we perform a rapid (15 seconds) efficacy test by taking Adenosine Triphosphate swabs (before and after treatment) from the surface.  This is measured in an ATP device which is a globally accepted method of testing and determining microbial levels on surfaces.  This method is also used by QA staff in and measure them via an ATP device. ATP is a globally accepted method of testing for the pathogenic presence and is commonly used by QA personnel in many food and beverage production facilities.

Are test results available for Zoono?

Yes. Zoono has been tested in accredited laboratories located in New Zealand, Australia, UK, Germany, USA, Turkey,

South Africa and Japan.

How does the Zoono Germfree24 hand sanitiser work?

Apply GermFree24 hand sanitiser liberally to the hands and gently rub until dry.

Refer to fact sheet 43 in the download below of Germfree24 test results.  In summary, these Test Results, GermFree24, when used neat as received can be considered a suitable hygienic hand rub when tested under the procedures prescribed by the WHO, giving a significantly better reduction in bacterial numbers.”

Therefore, GermFree24 not only met the EN1500 Standard but actually exceeded them (by giving “significantly better reduction in bacterial numbers”.

Does the GermFree24 hand sanitiser wash off?

No. Germree hand sanitiser does not rub off and will remain active on the skin’s surface for 24 hours. Normal washing of the hands with soap and water and drying with a towel will not affect efficacy.

How often should I apply the GermFree24 hand sanitiser?

You really don’t have to… GermFree24 hand sanitiser remains active on the skin until natural exfoliation has occurred and this usually takes 24 hours or so (varies due to factors like excessive perspiration).

Will my hands feel dry and chapped if I use GermFree24 hand sanitiser?

No. Unlike other hand sanitisers that contain up to 70% alcohol, GermFree24 is a mild but effective formulation. On application, it actually leaves hands feeling soft and moisturised.

Has GermFree24 been tested on a wide variety of skin types?

Yes. GermFree24 hand sanitiser has been dermatologically tested in Germany on a range of skin types (older people, young people, fair-skinned and dark-skinned people etc) – with zero reactions recorded.

How does the Probiotic Infection Prevention control surface cleaner protect my family?

Our Probiotic Infection Prevention Control (PIPC) surface cleaner is used for improved hygiene and protection. Upon application, the probiotics will stay on the surface (hard surface, textile) in order to provide two main benefits: - Deep cleaning:   The probiotics produce enzymes that digest organic pollution in order to make the surface microscopically clean. The probiotics remain active for several days and work to remove biofilm buildup continuously! - Healthy microbiome: The probiotics are good bacteria that cover all surfaces for a reduced risk of infection, as proven by clinical trials (Caselli 2018; PLOS ONE).

Surface cleaning. COVID19 and other Coronavirus may survive longer on surfaces that contain biofilm or a lot of organic pollution. Cleaning with any of the probiotic cleaning products will make sure that the surface becomes and remains free of organic pollution. The probiotics will keep cleaning the surface constantly! Such a clean surface will also improve the efficacy of disinfectants if needed.

So, what is biofilm buildup?

These slimy films of biofilm or clumps are made up of numerous different types/species of bacteria bound together in a thick substance that acts as a glue to both hold the bacteria together and adhere it to a surface. We are used to thinking of bacteria as individual organisms that live independently from each other, when in fact most bacteria live in diverse, dynamic colonies surrounded by an adhesive cell matrix the bacteria make themselves. This allows the bacteria to form mutually beneficial relationships with each other for gathering food and even communicating information about their environment that is important to their survival.

Just like the bacteria that form them, biofilms are everywhere – on slippery submerged rocks and in clogged pipes and drains. There’s even a biofilm in your mouth – it’s the dental plaque which forms on your teeth and contributes to tooth decay.

Biofilms are found on every surface, including our skin. Viruses help form biofilms. Bacteria frequently grow in communities called biofilms, which are aggregates of cells and polymers. The ability of this bacterium to form biofilms in the lung is linked to its ability to cause chronic infectious diseases.  Biofilm formation by pathogens in the environment can play a significant role in the transmission of pathogens from person to person and thus why, is it extremely important to ensure consistent removal.  This breaks the cycle of cross-contamination and infection. If not removed, biofilms can spread quickly and easily and contaminate other areas increasing the opportunity of infections spreading throughout the environment.

What is the Probiotic Pure Mist and what can we use it for to provide us with protection?

It is not always possible to clean all surfaces/materials (such as textile) or objects. This leaves a possible hot spot for the coronavirus. microPro provides a Probiotic Infection Prevention aerial fogging treatment to all surfaces and objects with a good microflora to lower the risk of infections.  This is also available in a self-spray bottle that can be used throughout the home or business.

Does the Probiotic Pure Mist provide for better indoor air quality?

It has been proven that the Corona COVID19 virus first infects the upper respiratory tract and sinuses. Making sure these areas also harbour a healthy microbiome will lower the risk of infection.

Is it safe for my children, elderly parents or grandparents to inhale the Probiotic Pure Mist

Yes, it is totally safe, microPro''s Probiotic producer, has been performing several years of research to promote such a healthy microbiome by means of inhaling the patented PIP Ultra Air synbiotics (probiotic + prebiotic). Inhalation of PIP Ultra Air is 100% safe and passed the official OECD403 tests.

Can you prove that your Probiotic products work?

Yes we can, numerous case studies and laboratory tests are available upon request.  Furthermore, microPro performs a before and after test when performing Probiotic Fogging to show reduced microbial count on surfaces.  This test is done via an Adenosine Triphosphate swab test (ATP) universal lead indicator to determine microbial levels on surfaces.
